Zolus was a violent drugs cartel based deep within the bowels of Tower 19, a prisoner spire located within the Butcher Bay Correctional Facility. According to inmate gossip, Zolusland was accessible through the many winding vents which interconnected the many towers and feed wards of the prison, and was almost impossible to penetrate. This served the gang well, allowing them to peddle narcotics with ease from their hidden home. Zolus had a good standing with the Aquilan Gang, who ran the 'postal service' located in the Single Max section. When the Aquilans' fell, Zolus muscled in on the postal service and began eliminating competition to gain total control of the drugs trade throughout the entire prison.
