Entrance to the Pit
The pit is part of Butcher Bay Correctional Facility, it is underneath the prison itself and is home to the mutated Dwellers. A prisoner by the name of Pope Joe also resides there, occasionally stealing from the guards.
While passing through double-max, Riddick overhears two guards talking about Hoxie having the Pit sealed due to the discovery of the passage to the guard's quarters.
