Based on the current reviews for the upcoming film Riddick (2013) it states that Riddick intends to return to Furya and promises Vaako to give him leadership of the Necromongers if he successfully delivers him to Furya; however, something goes wrong that causes Riddick to land onto the barren planet that the movie is mostly featured around. It also clearly states that the Necromongers haven't taken kindly to the fact that a non-necromonger / enemy of necromongers is their new king. Deathdealers747 (talk) 07:02, March 8, 2013 (UTC)
According to some he's retuning to Furya, but could be going to the Underverse in hope to find Kyra, as stated at the end of the novel.
The Necromongers most importantly Vaako betrays him and leaves him on a desolate planet with dangerous creatures. He has to send out a beacon which brings merc to him who wants him alive or dead, and he will then fend them off before a dangerous storm wipes over the planet. Most likely he steals one of their ships and escapes.
This movie here is basically like Pitch Black and the first half of The Chronicles with the mercs. I actually added the $38 million to the wikipedia page after I found it on IMDB, but that's the estimated budget when it comes out we'll know the real one. Pitch was made for $25 milli so $38 milli could still do some good, though it would been better if the had $65 million like the movie 300 had. Since Fast 6 is coming out hopefully it will help Riddick gross at least 300 million this time so we can get at least two more sequels and return to the Chronicles world.

Well, I'm just glad that Vin Diesel has put as much time and effort and charity into the making of the movie series as he has, because without him, this newest movie would not of been possible! So, knowing Vin Diesel, if Fast 6 profits nicely, he'll put that money towards another sequel or prequel (which is what the 2013 release had originally intended to be) to the next movie in the series.
