Morphine is a pain medication of the opiate family that is found naturally in a dark brown, resinous form, from the poppy plant (Papaver somniferum). It can be taken orally or injected; it is also often smoked.
In the year 2500 morphine is still manufactured and used, often even by junkies. One delivery system is a injection through a tear tuck of an eye. William J. Johns was known to abuse morphine due to his injury near the sweet spot.
