Jenkins was a civilian guard in Butcher Bay Correctional Facility. When Richard B. Riddick disguised as a guard came to talk to him, he complained how they are all the same, saying they need you and then when you look away do something else. Next to him on a bench was a letter that explained how a man named Kal Bonner was supposed to talk to Hoxie for Jenkins and get them both out of Butcher Bay, but didn't do it and left on his own. Jenkins decided not to drink his problems away and gave Riddick the booze he had bought.
