Freddan was an inmate in Butcher Bay Correctional Facility's Single-Max faculty. He ran from the guards and was shot in the back.

- Freddan can be saved in Dark Athena remake if the killer guard is killed. He then Thanks Riddick, and stays in crouched position.
- If Freddan is saved, he vanishes when Riddick contacts the guards to open the gates.
- In original Butcher Bay version Freddan dies without getting hit by bullets, even when the killer guard is shot.
